FULL PERUVIAN 3/4 ACCOYO
AOA# 32730494  DOB: 11/18/2012  (13 yrs)
Huacaya | Female | Unproven | White | Full Peruvian
Sire: Treasured Accoyo Royal Doulton
Dam: Peruvian Snowflake (deceased)
Service Sire: Our Father's Instigator

Doulton and Snowflake have, again, produced an amazing animal! She is a strong and active cria. She's another Caligula granddaughter. Emmy has grown into a beautiful dam reminiscent of Snowflake. Her Accoyo lineage shines through as shown by her fine, crimpy fleece. She is currently bred to an awesome, up and coming herdsire, Instigator. Emmy had her cria early! He is doing great, despite being 12 lbs. at birth. She is a great mom though, just like her mom. He's even nursing off an unrelated maiden. How did he get her to come into milk? Must be a sweet talker!

With Caligula and Bueno in her background, how can you lose? As this lineage suggests, her heritage is 1/2 Accoyo and 3/8 Alianza. Judge Amanda VandenBosch called Venus the full package: fine, crimpy fleece with amazing staple length and consistency; dense bone structure with perfect conformation; and excellent bite. She's a beauty true to her name. VENUS HAS RIBBONED IN EVERY SHOW ENTERED, IN SOME VERY LARGE CLASSES. With two blue ribbons in the ring, her fleece is moving on to earn her more blue's (and a reserve color championship!) as she has retired from the ring to begin her breeding career. Cameron Holt, THE FAMOUS fiber expert, absolutely loved her fleece too! (see Doulton) **At this time, we feel the judges have validated our perception of Venus' high quality, so we have retired her and her fleece from the show ring. She had a persistent hymen, but has finally had her first cria, Jupiter, who is FULL PERUVIAN AND 3/4 ACCOYO, and 3/16 ALIANZA! Unfortunately, Venus passed away. The vet said he thinks either a gunshot or an aneurysm in the lung was to blame as her lung suddenly filled with blood.

Male

Registered Therapy Animal
AOA# 31125338  DOB: 10/26/2008  (17 yrs)
Huacaya | Male | Non-Breeder | White | 1/2 Peruvian, 1/2 Bolivian
Sire: Firethorn
Dam: Peruvian Snowflake (deceased)

Snowfire is a wonderful combination of Peruvian (Accoyo) and Bolivian genetics that has produced impressive fleece characteristics that is certainly apparent in Snowfire's fleece. He is healthy and strong with fine, gorgeous, dense bundles of medium frequency, medium amplitude, fiber crimped all around his body, from skin to tip with a staple length that is the longest I have ever seen on a cria. His maternal grandsire needs no introduction since he is the famous Caligula. The positive fleece characteristics of the Acero Marka line on his paternal side are evident. His genetics certainly plays a part in the attributes he brings to the table. A nice disposition completes the package. Although his typical shearing weight is over 10 pounds, Snowfire has not held his fineness. Therefore, we've decided to geld him. However, because of Snowfire's sweet disposition he is currently being used as a therapy animal through Pet Partners, Inc. Everyone loves this boy. He is so tolerant of people touching him. The first day I took him to an assisted living facility, he let people hug him. Just love this sedate guy!

Snowflake is a half Accoyo amazing Caligula daughter. At nineteen she still has very soft, dense fiber and is a great mom. This is one alpha female that doesn't act or look her age. She has produced exceptional offspring including the famous Grand Alero, Ice, our Venus, who has won multiple blue ribbons and a reserve championship, and Snowfire, who has already won a blue while just beginning his show career. Snow had a 3/4 Accoyo girl on 8/25/11. Her daughter, Athena, is amazing! Another girl in 2012- that's three out of four that are female since we've owned her. Emily Marie has grown into a beauty. After having surgery to remove a cancerous growth on her toe, I'm guessing she also had some internal cancer that caused her to lose a lot of weight. We felt it was best to put her down before the winter, as she would only lose more weight and die a painful death. We have her lovely offspring, Snowfire, Athena, and Emily Marie to keep her memory alive.
